Star Cinema's First Movie Offering for the year 2011 "BULONG"

36th Metro Manila Film Festival

I never thought that that I will be supporting this year’s filmfest too much. I just think that all the entries in this year’s film fest are all worth watching. I rushed to the cinema on the first day of the film fest( December 25) and decided to watch Dalaw first,I thought that dalaw wont last long thats why I decided to watch this first, but I was really surprise when I saw that Dalaw was a certified hit when i entered the cinema.Right after I watched Dalaw I just decided to go to church first before i watch another entry.I watched RPG Metanoia after I went to church on the same daw at Glorietta 4,no 3D for RPG so i was not able to watch it in 3D. The crowd was not as much as in other entries but it was not that flop as like Dayo and Urduja before.Really glad to see a film like RPG that was produced here in our country. Then came monday(December 27) I planned to watch Rosario at Greenbelt 3 Cinemas, but then my friend wont like the idea,so decided to watch Shake Rattle and Roll XII instead. It was a good movie though some episodes are boring, cinema crowd is awesome.I just love the episode of Carla Abellana ( Punerarya ) The best episode of Shake rattle and Roll ever for me.Afteer 3days ( December 30 ) I decided to watch Rosario before I went to the Grocery. The movie was just awesome, left me speechless though acting of Jenilyn Mercado disappoints me. But with the technicals it was great,Good Cinematography,Scoring,Editing,Sound,Make Up et al. Gread Debut for Albert Martinez but I think Albert needs to improve more.January 1,I celebrated New Year with a bang by watching Ang Tanging Ina Mo Last Na To.Never thought that I will still have trouble booking a seat since its already its 2nd week.I ended up seating at the very front row in the right side of the cinema.Thank God Glorietta does not allow Standing Room at least I still have a seat. Now I am planning to watch Father Jejemon, but my problem is Limited Cinemas are now showing it. I am now having trouble finding a theater, I guess I will just be watching it at Gateway :). I wanna watch Rosario and RPG again and again. Support Local Movie. I never had so much interest in Local Movies just now. I am now excited for the 37th MMFF no more time for foreign movies lol :)
